Why Netflix is not Afraid of the Mo'Nique Boycott

Ever since Mo'Nique called for a Netflix boycott due to racial and gender discrimination, I have been watching for Netflix to make a statement.  Surely Netflix would say something in response.  But in the week since her cry for justice, Netflix has remained surprisingly silent.

I was left to reflect on Netflix's reasoning.  Why had they not made a statement?  Admittedly this is pure conjecture, but the only conclusion I could come to was that they didn't see the boycott as a threat.  They knew that it wouldn't amount to anything (this is evidenced by the fact that Netflix stock has risen 50 points since Mo'Nique's statement).  Netflix knew the boycott would come to naught.

Why?

Because Social Justice Warriors are summer soldiers.  They suffer from Cecil-Lion syndrome.  They are fine campaigning online and protesting and even beating the snot out of people who disagree with them; but ask them to sacrifice somethingask them to do something that threatens their cozy comfortand the deal is off.

SJWs will whine about the injustice and discrimination that Mo'Nique faced, but will they actually cancel their Netflix subscription?  Not likely.
